  • European Digital Identity (EUDI) Wallet : 欧州デジタルIDウォレット
  • EUのeID背景
    • 今まで単一の欧州規模のデジタルIDが採用されることはなかったが、2014年にeIDASの制定以降、EU加盟国間でオンラインサービスにおいて利用できるデジタルID（eID）の導入が加盟国ごと任意で進められた。
    • 他方、eIDの提供が任意でかつその普及が十分でなかったことから、2021年のeIDAS改正提案 （eIDAS2.0）において、デジタルウォレット（EUDIW）の提供を加盟国に義務付け、eIDを含めた属性証明書・公的文書をモバイルデバイスで利用可能とした。
  • 「デジタルウォレット」は一般的に、搭乗券やチケット、銀行カード・クレジットカード等を電子的に保管・使用するためのスマートフォンアプリを指す。必ずしもキャッシュレス決済用のアプリのみを指す訳ではない。ウォレット（ wallet ）は「財布」という意味ではなく、「（持ち運び用の）小物入れ」という意味で用いられていると思われる。
